Chinese Calligraphy
AHSC offers a beginner’s and an advanced class. Both are taught by Mr. Yan Bu Liang.

Beaverton Center -Beginner and Accelerate Class
Date: Apr 4 – June 13, 2011 (every Monday)
(4/4, 4/11, 4/18, 4/25, 5/2, 5/9, 5/16, 5/23, 6/6, 6/13)
Time: 2:45pm -4:45pm
Registration fee: $20.00 annually (cover all art classes’ registration and
all art activities sponsored by Asian Health and Service Center Art Association within one year period).
Term Fee: $50.00

Audience:
1. Students who have basic foundation in Chinese calligraphy and want to elevate their learning level.
2. Any one who have not learned Chinese calligraphy before and would like to learn about it.
Theme of Study and method:
Base on the requirement from students, we will choose one style and analyze brush work, practice it smoothly and arrive in the level of not only the form look like that particular style but also retain its spirit. For the beginner, teacher will start from the basic knowledge, shown each student with a demonstrate piece, student will imitate this copy until they gain control on it. Students can renew new pieces from times to times.
From each student assigned assignment, the teacher will guide and analyze each individual work so that every student will accelerate to a higher learning level.
