Chinese Calligraphy
AHSC offers a beginner’s and an advanced class. Both are taught by Mr. Yan Bu Liang. Tuition for the class is $50.
Beaverton Center -Beginner and Accelerate Class
Date: Apr 5 – Jun 14, 2010 (every Monday)
(4/5, 4/12, 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 5/24, 6/7, 6/14)
Time: 2:45pm -4:45pm
Registration fee: $20.00 paid annually (cover all art classes
registration), this fee will use to fund art exhibition & art association activities.
Term Fee: $50.00

Audience:
1. Students who have basic foundation in Chinese calligraphy and want to increase their learning level (Plan to learn Hsing Shu.)
2. Any one who have not learned Chinese calligraphy before and would like to learn about it.
Theme of Study and method:
Base on the requirement from students, we will choose one style and analyze brush work, practice it smoothly and arrive in the level of not only the form look like that particular style but also retain its spirit. For the beginner, teacher will start from the basic knowledge, shown each student with a demonstrate piece, student will imitate this copy until they gain control on it. Students can renew new pieces from times to times.
